Introduction

In February 2009, Permacast secured a contract to supply more than 2,400 precast retaining wall units for the Woodside PLUTO LNG plant in Karratha. The project involved the detailed design and manufacture of a variety of unit sizes, specifically engineered to function as temporary earth-retaining formwork for the site’s cable trenches. This solution provided robust support during excavation while ensuring efficiency and safety throughout construction.
