Permacast was selected by the head contractor, Shorewater Marine, to manufacture 84 precast concrete panels to replace the existing deteriorating panels on the Busselton Jetty. To meet stringent specifications, these panels were produced in a highly controlled precast factory environment. This included achieving a consistent anti-slip concrete finish and additional reinforcement cover to ensure safety and durability in a marine environment. Due to the panels’ delicate geometry and shallow depth, lifting and transportation were completed carefully to prevent damage and maintain its structural integrity.
