Introduction

Optus Stadium

For this project Permacast manufactured up to 25 units per day, working to an accelerated schedule following project award. The progressive design process involved close collaboration between Permacast, the design team, architects, and the client. To support just-in-time delivery, more than 36,000 m² of storage space was utilised. Additionally, Permacast’s BIM modelling was instrumental in maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the project, contributing to Optus Stadium’s status as a landmark in modern construction.

Introduction

Elizabeth Quay

Permacast manufactured a range of polished precast concrete edge seating units for the Elizabeth Quay redevelopment. The seating featured a high-quality finish and was designed to accommodate a variety of radius curves to complement the Quay’s distinctive waterfront design. In total, Permacast produced 104 curved seating units and 199 straight units, each meeting the project’s demanding aesthetic and structural requirements. The result contributed to the delivery of one of Perth’s most recognisable public spaces, showcasing precision craftsmanship and attention to architectural detail.
